On arrival at Bangalore, you will be greeted by our executive then transfer to Mysore. Enroute visit “Tippu Summer Palace” at Srirengapatnam. On reaching Mysore check into hotel, after quick refreshing proceed for sightseeing– the Famous “Palace of Mysore”: Built in 1912 in the Indo Saracenic style, this palace exudes a grandeur that is unmatched and then on to The “Jayachanarajendra Art Gallery” housed in the Jaganmohan palace: that has a collection of Exquisite paintings dating back to 1875. Onward visit to the Bull Temple (a 4.8mts monolith) on the middle of hill and then to visit the “Chamundi Hill Temple” at a height of 1062 mts. In the evening visit to the beautiful Brindavan Garden. After breakfast, check out the hotel and then drive to Ooty also known as Nilgiris. On arrival at Ooty check into the hotel and later for the sightseeing tour of visiting famous Botanical Garden spread over a huge area of 22 hectares and with more than 650 species of flowers and trees, is a horticulturist’s delight. The highlight of the garden is a fossil tree that is believed to be 20 million years old. The Doddabetta Peak at an altitude of 8,606 feet which is the highest point of South India. The view of Nilgiris from here is breathtaking. The Rose Garden located in the heart of Ooty is one of the largest rose gardens in India and also a popular tourist attraction. The Beautiful Garden is spread across 10 acres of land and houses some of the largest collections of roses in the country. The Wax museum here in is also interesting to visits. End your day at the Ooty lake a 2.5-kilometre long lake meandering through the scenic beauty of the Nilgiris. Afetr breakfast, excursion to Coonoor by the famous TOY TRAIN (ticket subject to availability) for a beautiful ride from Ooty – Coonoor. Upon reaching Coonoor the driver will pick you from station and proceed for sightseeing visiting Sims Park – a beautiful botanical garden located in Coonoor is a popular tourist attraction. Developed in 1874 this park is home to a variety of unusual species of plants, which have been brought from different parts of the world. Lamb’s rock – offers spectacular views of the lush forest, beautiful hills and coffee/tea estates. This makes the place an excellent picnic spot. Dolphin’s Nose – a stunning viewpoint situated more than 1000 feet above sea level. Its unique rock formation and peak resembles a dolphin’s nose from where it derives the name. After breakfast, proceed to Munnar the nature lover’s paradise. Surrounded by lush green tea estates, this picturesque hill station boasts of exotic flora and fauna. Upon arrival at Munnar, check in to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Munnar.
After breakfast, proceed to visit Eravikulam Park (The main inhabitant of the Eravikulam park is Nilgiri Tahr. Now the park has the largest known population of Tahrs existing in the world. The park also shelters Atlas Moth, Elephants, Sambhars, Gaurs, Lion-tailed Macaque, Nilgiri Langur, Tigers and Leopards). Later visit to the “Tea museum” and see the processing of tea. Depending on interest you can also visit to Mattupetty and Echo point. The Evening is at leisure for own activities or walk around the market area for window shopping at this little Hill Town. After breakfast, proceed to Periyar (also known as Thekkady) retrieves the name after the Dam made here by the English in 1895. A wild life reserve hence is an ideal place to track down wild life such as Elephants, Bison, Deer and numerous other varieties of birds. The landscape here is with very tropical and you will be surrounded by tea, coffee & other spices. Upon arrival at Thekkady, check in to hotel. Later proceed for the most popular boat trip at the National Park – the best way to observe game in wild is by boat. There are many animals to see, including herds of elephants, bison’s and packs of wild boars that roam through the woods and parade along the shores of the lake just before sunrise. You can also see different species of apes. The golden langur monkey that lives here is rarely seen in the rest of India. Other animals in Periyar are otters and porcupines. Water turtles can often be seen sunning themselves on the pieces of wood that stick out of the water. Osprey and Cormorants belong to the most important species of birds in this area. After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey – the land of backwaters. After 12 noon you embark a private House boat that is waiting for taking you on a tour through the Backwaters of Alleppey, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. Very interestingly you get to see the whole life of people in here takes place on the water. The people sail, fish, swim and bathe here. They are so adapted to the water that, you can see people talking for an hour, while they are up to their necks in water. Overnight stay at the hotel in Alleppey.
Today after breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Cochin a cosmopolitan city in the federal state of Kerala. On arrival at Cochin, sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting – ‘The Jewish Synagogue’ at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town, ‘The Dutch Palace, Spice market at the narrow streets, The St. Francis Church’, the oldest European Church in India and the Cochin boast “Chinese fishing nets”. Later free time for shopping at one of Asia’s biggest Shopping mall “LULU MALL”. then you will be dropped at Cochin Airport / Railway Station for your Flight / Train back to home or your next destination.
